Specialized courses for the Local Action Groups (upon request)

For the Local Action Groups (GAL), formed by representatives of the public and private sectors and of the civil society and which have responsibilities in the preparation of the selection calls for the measures included in the Plan for Local Development, VIP Profconsult offers, upon request, specialized courses for the administrative check and the technical and financial evaluation of the projects, depending on the type of investment.

Given the specifics of the target group, the courses can also include a module on the project management basics, through which the GAL members will become familiar with the terminology, the project-cycle management, the development of the project proposals and the formal eligibility criteria, as per the funders’ requirements. 

The courses give participants an understanding of the European fund-granting mechanisms, of project selection and the conclusion of financing contracts, of the programs and institutions that are involved in the management of grants in Romania, of how to write funding requests and of the monitoring, control and public acquisitions requirements that need to be followed in project implementation. 

The training programs can be organized in modules lasting 3, 5 or 20 days, depending on the topic. They can take place at the locations presented in the curriculum for trimester 4/2013 or at the beneficiaries’ headquarters.

For the “Project Evaluator” and “Project Manager’ occupations, the participants can choose to take an ANC (former CNFPA) exam to get the course-completion certificate.
